'PlainHaven Pizzeria was born from a vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Via di Santa Prisca 11. The Moretti family’s beginnings in 1985 marked the inception of our pizzeria as a quaint, family-led diner rich with recipes passed down the lineage.
During her sojourn across Italy, Marco Moretti, our progenitor, lay her foundation in pizza craftmanship by training with notable pizzaiolos of Naples—the cradle of pizza. Once back in the UK, her resolve was to bring the essence of Italian pizza here, using age-old techniques and prime ingredients.
Our once humble 12-seat joint has expanded its reach as a staple in the community without compromising the standards of quality and genuineness. Persisting with traditional wood-fired ovens, our daily-made dough, and premium quality produce has been our ethos.
Retaining its family roots, 'PlainHaven Pizzeria is now helmed by the next in line of the Moretti household, as we continue to be stewards of an inspired crew. Despite the adaptation of some new practices, our core mission stands firm: delivering delectable and bona fide pizza that unites our patrons.
